LPR Parliament statement on Ukrainian constitution amendments
LUGANSK, December 14 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky has introduced a Constitution amendment draft bill concerning the decentralization of the country to the Ukrainian parliament.
These amendments are totally unrelated to the Ukraine's compliance with the Minsk Agreements and decisions enshrined within the summary of the Normandy Four summit.
In accordance with the Minsk Agreements, all the amendments concerning the Donbass special status must take into account its peculiarities and must be harmonized with the LPR and DPR.
We do not recognize any "decentralization" endorsed without coordinating it with LPR and DPR. We demand that the amendments are discussed at the nearest meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on December 18.
