LPR parliament adopts Family Code
LUGANSK, June 14 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic parliament approved the the Family Code at the session on Thursday.
“The legislation sets the procedure for marriage, divorce, the protection of family and wedlock and regulates property and non-property relations between the spouses, parents and children and other relatives or third persons within the established boundaries,” said Valeriy Galinkin, who heads the parliament committee on health care, education, science, culture, labour and social policy, family, youth, sports and tourism.
The document also sets regulations for identifying the children left without parental care, child adoption and temporary accommodation of parentless children at orphanages, he added.
