LPR militia demines 36,000 square meters of terrain in March - JCCC
LUGANSK, April 1 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Militia deminers cleared 36,000 square meters of land (3.6 hectares) in March, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.
“The Militia’s engineer units, monitored by the the LPR Office at the JCCC, conducted UXO clearance next to settlements and vital infrastructure facilities on a total area of 36,000 square meters,” the report said. “In March, eight pieces of unexploded ordnance were found and rendered harmless.”
In 2020, LPR People’s Militia and Emergencies Ministry engineers conducted mine clearance on an area of more than 1,100 hectares.
