LPR meets budget revenue target at 113.6 % in 2020 - Finance Ministry
LUGANSK, January 26 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic Finance Ministry reported budget revenue collection at 113.6 percent in the fiscal year 2020.
“The expenditure targets were met at 99 percent in 2020, up 45.9 percent year-on-year,” the report said.
Welfare expenditure targets were met at 99.7 percent, including wages and allowances (99.7 percent) , pensions (100 percent), benefits and student grants (99.4 percent), fuels (97.3 percent) and meals and medications (98.3 percent).
State-owned companies reported no payroll liabilities in the period from May 1, 2015 through January 1, 2020, the LPR Finance Ministry said.
“In 2020, the LPR government approved several projects to develop the housing and public utilities sector, roads and transport and maintain housing and social infrastructure,” the Finance Ministry said. “The infrastructure projects were fully funded as requested by the managers responsible for project implementation.”
It added that wages and pensions were raised in 2020 as part of the LPR socio-economic development programme “Our Choice.”
