LPR lifts COVID-19 lockdown in Perevalsk, Alchevsk and Pervomaisk
LUGANSK, May 15 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR emergency committee on prevention of the COVID-19 spread has lifted strict self-isolation measures in Perevalsk, Alchevsk and Pervomaisk, the Government's press service announced.
Restrictions have partially been lifted across the Republic since May 13. A number of businesses and passenger traffic resumed.
"At the todays meeting, the emergency committee has decided to lift tightened COVID-19 restrictions in Perevalsk, Alchevsk and Pervomaisk," the document reads.
The commission concluded that the infection's hotbed had been localized.
Starting from May 13, food markets, retailers (working on markets, in trade centers), beauty centers, public transport system, pre-school educational institutions returned to normal operation on condition of strictly implementing anti-COVID-19 requirements, such as providing maximum social distance, regular disinfection, monitoring employees' health.
The strict self-isolation remains in place in Sverdlovsk and Frunze.
