LPR law enforcement clamps down on drug lab in Krasnodonskiy district
LPR Prosecutor General's office shut down a drug lab in Krasnodonskiy district that had been trafficking drugs in DPR and Russia, said the head of Prosecutor General's office investigation department Vadim Lyaschenko.
"The officers of LPR Prosecutor's General office revealed the fact of drug production and storage on January 28."
"As a result of search carried out in a house in Popovka, Krasnodonskiy district, large volumes of precursors for amphetamine were found and seized, as well as arms and munitions."
Investigators believe the lab had been functioning since September 2016.
"Drugs were sold in LPR, DPR and Russia," Lyaschenko said.
Following the clampdown the criminal charges were brought against the group of people behind the lab who now face from 8 to 15 years in prison for illegal drug production and sale.
