LPR Health Ministry drills mobile hospital deployment
LUGANSK, November 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic Healthcare Ministry drilled mobile hospital deployment as part of government bodies and civil defence forces crisis management exercises, the Ministry’s press service reported.
“The Healthcare Ministry deployed a mobile hospital which can admit a large number of patients within a short period. It can group patients and provide emergency aid,” the report said.
The mobile hospital has a surgery section, IT wards, mobile laboratory and x-ray equipment. An ambulance team is on standby to examine suspected acute respiratory viral infection patients or COVID-19 contacts.
“The drill meets all the sanitary and epidemiological norms set out by the Emergency Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Commission. Medical assistance to the population is provided as usual,” the Ministry said.
LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik announced joint exercises from November 10 to November 14 to train the response to crises and possible external threats.
Earlier, all government bodies and local administrations across the LPR reported their readiness for the upcoming drills.
