LPR Head thanks Russia for invaluable assistance as 100th humanitarian aid convoy arrives
LUGANSK, November 26 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik thanked Russia for invaluable assistance on the day of arrival in the LPR of the 100th humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
“The 100th humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry has arrived in the LPR! Brotherly Russia has been supporting Donbass residents for the sixth year; we are very thankful for this invaluable assistance!” Pasechnik said.
According to the established tradition, activists of the Mir Luganschine social movement welcomed the white KamAZ trucks at the point of entry to the LPR,” he tweeted.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the LPR on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered more than 85,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
