LPR hands over to Ukraine its drug addict and defector junior sergeant Pupko
LUGANSK, December 23 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR has handed over to Ukraine its serviceman who wandered into LPR positions intoxicated, said LPR People's Militia press service officer Ivan Filiponenko.
"Today, thanks to the joints efforts of LPR Mission to the JCCC and the Union of Afghan Veterans of the Lugansk region the defector Alexander Pupko from the 14th brigade was handed over to Ukraine.
"At the moment of the hand-over he was in good health, our doctors saved his life from the drug intoxication," Filiponenko said.
Earlier the LPR People's Militia detained a member of the 14th brigade who later died of overdose. Another defector was not long in coming. He turned out to be junior sergeant Pupko Alexander Ivanovich, born in 1991, in the Nemovichi township of the Rovno region, serves in the 14th brigade, unit commander of the reconnaissance platoon of the mechanized infantry battalion. When apprehended, Pupko displayed erratic behavior, was dressed in torn and dirty clothes, without a warm coat, with only one boot.
