LPR hands over drone fragments to OSCE monitoring mission (PHOTOS)
LUGANSK, February 19 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic handed over fragments of a drone which crashed in the LPR to OSCE Special Monitoring Mission representatives, LPR People’s Militia spokesman Andrey Marochko said.
“Fragments of an OSCE unmanned aerial vehicle which crashed in the LPR were returned on Tuesday afternoon,” Marochko said adding that the wreckage had been handed over by LPR representatives at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC).
On February 18, the OSCE’s Camcopter S-100 fell in the Chernogvardeiskoye village area of the Kirov municipality. It caught fire after the crash. LPR personnel at the JCCC found drone fragments on the same day.
Marochko said that Kiev forces had used electronic warfare equipment to supress OSCE UAVs in order to conceal the deployment on the contact line of forces and hardware banned by the Minsk Agreements.
Earlier, the spokesman said that the LPR militia had repeatedly helped the OSCE SMM to look for drones lost in the LPR.
