LUGANSK, June 26 (Lugansk Media Centre) - A-92 and A-95 petrol, diesel fuel and natural gas prices in the Lugansk People’s Republic are lower than in Ukraine, according to a comparative analysis conducted by the Lugansk Media Centre.
As of June 26, the average ruble-denominated price of A-92 petrol in Ukraine at the rate quoted by the LPR State Bank made up 59.6 rubles per litre, A-95 petrol cost 61.7 rubles, diesel fuel 56.1 rubles and natural gas - 30.1 rubles.
The price monitoring published by the Lugansk administration on June 26 showed that the average A-92 prices at commercial petrol stations reached 53 to 53.5 rubles per litre, A-95 sold at 54 to 54.5 rubles, diesel fuel at 54 rubles and gas at 29 rubles.
Consequently, A-92 petrol in LPR is 6.1 to 6.6 rubles cheaper than in Ukraine and A-95 is 7.2 to 7.7 rubles cheaper. The price of the LPR’s diesel fuel is 2.1 rubles lower than Ukraine’s, and gas prices are 1.1 rubles lower.
Acting LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik ordered the Republic’s Council of Ministers on December 2, 2017, to find a way to decrease prices of fuel and lubricants. LPR Council of Ministers chairman Sergey Kozlov said that the prices of fuel and lubricants must not decrease at the expense of their quality.
