LPR Foreign Ministry says Kiev's failure to disengage might affect Normandy Four summit
LUGANSK, October 9 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Despite the fact that Ukrainian confirmed its obligations in Minsk, it has again derailed the disengagement of forces in Zolotoye, said LPR Foreign Minister representing the Republic at Minsk talks Vladislav Deinego.
"We have acted in accordance with the procedure endorsed by the Contact Group on October 1, provided the OSCE SMM with initial data on the disengagement, sent them a notification on our willingness to comply 24 hours prior the date, fired white signal flare at 12 p.m. Unfortunately, no signal followed from the Ukrainian side.
"Several days before the set date, Ukraine began justifying its inability to fulfill obligations by coming up with fake shelling incidents and demanding seven-day ceasefire, which is not set forward by the current agreement."
He said that the team of Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky blocks the disengagement in Zolotoye as it blocked Stanitsa Luganskaya disengagement that could not be completed for three years.
"Kiev risks cancellation of the Normandy Four summit by sabotaging its obligations."
