LPR food companies cover 75 percent of local poultry demand
LUGANSK, April 10 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR food companies are meeting the 75 percent of demand for chicken, said the Minister of Agriculture and Food Yuriy Pronko.
"The LPR authorities took timely measures by introducing duties in poultry meat and meat products, that facilitated local production to cover 75 percent of the demand for chicken."
"The Regional Agricultural Holding has boosted its contribution in chicken production from 14 to 43 percent."
The Minister of Industry and Trade Dmitriy Bozhich added that in accordance with LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik's decree the poultry prices are regularly monitored and points of direct sale are being opened at markets.
