LPR famers ready 70 % of agricultural equipment for spring sowing
LUGANSK, January 10 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Lugansk People’s Republic agribusinesses prepared some 70 percent of agricultural machinery for spring sowing, the LPR Agriculture and Food Ministry said.
“Although the winter is getting into full swing, farms vigorously prepare for sowing giving a top priority to equipment readiness,” the Ministry said. “All LPR agribusinesses drew repair and maintenance schedules and allocated funds to purchase spare parts, fuel and lubricants.”
Currently, the readiness of the tractor fleet makes up 62 percent, seeding machines 65 percent, tillage machines 74 percent, and spreading machines 77 percent. Twenty-seven percent of fuel and lubricants have been supplied.
Earlier, the Ministry tasked LPR farmers with running maintenance and repairs on the equipment and stocking fuel and lubricants for uninterrupted spring sowing within a tight timeframe.
