LPR electricity prices up to three times lower than in Ukraine - survey
LUGANSK, April 15 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR residents pay three times less than Ukrainian for electricity, the survey by the Lugansk Media Center has revealed.
The Ukrainian National energy and utilities regulatory commission adopted a five-step program for rising tariffs back in 2015.
Currently Ukrainians pay 2.21 rubles monthly for electricity supply if the consumption level is under 100 100 kWh, while LPR residents pay 0.73 rubles. If the consumption is over 100 kWh, the price is 4.12 rubles in Ukraine and 1.26 rubles in the LPR; over 600 kWh level is 4.12 and 2.81 rubles respectively.
The difference between the electricity bills ranges between 1.5 and 3.3. times.
Another raise of tariffs is expected in Ukraine on July 1, 2019.
