LPR, DPR and Crimea sign inter-parliamentary cooperation agreement
LUGANSK, January 18 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The Republic of Crimea and the, LPR and DPR have signed an inter-parliamentary cooperation agreement in Simferopol on Friday.
LPR delegation led by the LPR Parliament Speaker Denis Miroshnichenko arrived in Simferopol to celebrate the 365th anniversary of the Pereyaslav Council.
The Pereyaslav Council was convened in 1654 for a ceremonial pledge of allegiance by Cossacks to the Tsardom of Russia, making Ukraine a part of Rus.
"It is an important moment in our history", Miroshnichenko said. "It is a huge responsibility, a new level of interaction."
