LUGANSK, July 5 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR Air Defense has downed four Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs this week, said LPR People's Militia press service head Yakov Osadchiy.

He said that the drones belonged to Ukrainian 25th and 14th brigades.

Photos and footage retrieved from the drones have been passed to the LPR Prosecutor General’s Office and intermingled with other criminal cases against senior Ukrainian commanders responsible for shelling Donbass territories.

“The command of the 25th brigade tried to spread propagandistic leaflets in the LPR by dropping them form an UAV. The leaflets aimed to intimidate Donbass residents and compromise peace agreements.”

Earlier the LPR People's Militia revealed that Ukrainian electronic warfare units are targeting the UAVs of the OSCE SMM intentionally.

Ukrainian forces regularly interfere with the OSCE drone operations to conceal heavy weapons presence at the contact line.

Employing combat aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in a 30 km wide zone along the line of contact is banned under Article 7 of Minsk Memorandum, with the sole exception of OSCE SMM UAVs.
