LPR defines categories of people allowed to cross border during pandemic
LUGANSK, April 25 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR emergency committee on prevention of the COVID-19 spread has defined categories of residents who are permitted to travel abroad during the pandemic.
Earlier the LPR closed its borders to prevent the spread of the infection.
Travel will still be possible for those who:
- permanently reside in Russia, the DPR or Ukraine;
- have a valid reason to travel such as for medical attention, business trip, funerals, etc.
- are employed as drivers at cargo shipping companies, drivers of special and work transport, locomotive and train crews, provided that they have appropriate documents.
The World Health Organization called the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic. The first coronavirus infection cases were recorded in China in late 2019. As of now, the number of coronavirus contacts has exceeded 2.6 million people in 213 countries; of those almost 184,000 died.
