LPR Commission suspends operation of non-food stores starting March 31
LUGANSK, March 31 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Emergency Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Commission under the Lugansk People’s Republic government has suspended the operation of non-food stores starting March 31, the LPR government press service reported.
The World Health Organisation called the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic. The first coronavirus infection cases were recorded in China in late 2019. As of now, the number of coronavirus contacts has exceeded 697,000; of those over 33,000 died. Coronavirus cases were diagnosed in Ukraine and Russia; the LPR has confirmed one COVID-19 case.
Earlier, the LPR Santiary and Anti-Epidemic Commission announced such measures as shutting down public catering facilities, transition to distance learning from March 30 and cancellation of public transportation incentives.
The latest measure does not apply to pharmacies, retail food outlets, pet stores and online shops selling and delivering essentials like detergents or personal care products, the LPR government press service said.
