LPR civil defence forces drill prevention of railway sabotage
LUGANSK, November 5 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Lugansk People’s Republic civil defence bodies and forces drilled prevention of railway sabotage and defusing of home-made bombs, the LPR Emergencies Ministry press service reported.
On November 5 – 9, the LPR civil defence bodies are holding a joint exercise with the Donetsk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry within the unified state crisis prevention and management system.
“On November 5, the LPR Emergencies Ministry, Interior Ministry, Transport Ministry and Health Care Ministry drilled practical measures to prevent simulated sabotage on the railway and defuse a home-made bomb in the Lugansk railway station area,” the report said.
All the planned measures to handle the crisis have been carried out, the Emergencies Ministry said.
Earlier, LPR Emergencies Minister Yevgeny Katsavalov said that the LPR and DPR rescuers would train interaction in handling man-made and natural emergencies in different modes of operation.
On January 22, 2019, the LPR and DPR civil defence bodies held a three-day joint drill within the framework of the unified state crisis management system.
