LPR and South Ossetia sign Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Agreement
LUGANSK, December 19 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik and the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov have signed a Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Agreement in the South Ossetia capital Tskhinval, Lugansk Media Center correspondent reports.
"Today we have signed a friendship agreement between our Republics. We have been successfully cooperating for five years in the spheres of economy, culture, public organizations, and today's signing of the agreement is just an official registration of our relationships," Pasechnik said.
He said there is still a lot of work ahead, but "it is easier to go together".
Pasechnik arrived in Tskhinval on December 18 accompanied by a delegation of LPR officials. Pasechnik awarded Bibilov with the Order of Frienship.
