LUGANSK, June 26 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR Emergency Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Commission on fighting the COVID-19 outbreak has lifted ban on Sverdlovsk outbound traffic.
The decision comes into force on June 26, 11 p.m.
The World Health Organization called the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic. The first coronavirus infection cases were recorded in China in late 2019. As of now, the number of coronavirus contacts has exceeded 9.4 million; of those, over 484,000 have died.
To prevent the spreading of the coronavirus infection, the LPR authorities put the Republic on high alert and changed the mode of operation for government bodies, companies, organisations and transport. As of today, most of restrictions have been eased due to the improving COVID-19 situation.
Earlier, the LPR Healthcare Ministry said that the coronavirus situation in the Republic had fully stabilized and that the government and medics were monitoring it.
