Liberated LPR residents to receive medical and financial support
LUGANSK, December 27 (Lugansk Media Center) – LPR residents released from Kiev's captivity will get medical assistance and financial aid from the Republic's authorities, said LPR representative in the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup Olga Kobtseva.
Today the Donbass Republics and Ukraine have carried out one of the largest prisoner swops in the conflict history, returning over 300 people to their families and homes. The exchange took place at the Mayorsk checkpoint in DPR area of responsibility.
"The social program to support for released persons provides medical examination and aid. Those discharged from hospital will be able to return home, those who need a dwelling will be provided with a dormitory," Kobtseva said.
"Actually, they can already call their families, tell them they are coming home."
She added that all the liberated people would receive financial support.
