Kiev says cannot decide on ceasefire as long as martial law lasts
LUGANSK, December 19 (Lugansk Media Center) – Kiev representatives at the Minsk talks said that Ukraine cannot take a decision on ceasefire in Donbass until the martial law is lifted in the country, said LPR acting Foreign Minister representing the Republic at Minsk talks Vladislav Deinego.
"When speaking about support of the ceasefire as such, Kiev representatives cited the martial law and said it was impossible to agree on the date until martial law is lifted. At the same time they put forward a number of ultimatums that are outside of the Minsk Agreements' remit.
"Probably the date will be coordinated on December 27 during the video conference," he said in a statement released to the Lugansk Media Center.
