LUGANSK, June 8 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Ukrainian army shelled a kindergarten in Donetskiy to impede the road to the site of yesterday's bus shelling in Golubovskoye for the SMM, the LPR mission to the JCCC reported.

Donetskiy is located approximately 50km west-west-north of Lugansk, and situated on the route to Golubovskoye, which is 2km further south-west.

Yesterday at 10.30 a.m. Kiev forces opened mortar fire on Golubovskoye (Kirovsk administrative district), injuring six passengers in a bus.

"On June 8 an SMM patrol was dispatched to look into the incident, the OSCE SMM informed the Ukrainian side in the JCCC about the trip."

"On June 8, at 9 a.m. Ukrainian armed forces shelled the area from the direction of Novotoshkovskoye in the direction of Donetskiy using 82mm mortars and "BMP-1" infantry fighting vehicle. A kindergarten has been damaged in Donetskiy."

The SMM had to leave the area due to security concerns.

The members of the Contact Group have announced ceasefire more than ten times since autumn 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large calibre artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn in accordance with the Minsk agreements.

The Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements was adopted by the Contact Group on Ukraine on February 12, 2015 and supported by member states of the Normandy Four (Germany, Russia, Ukraine and France). The UN Security Council approved the document by its 2202 Resolution and called upon all the sides to ensure full implementation of the Package of Measures.

The document provides for comprehensive ceasefire, withdrawal of all heavy weapons from the contact line, starting a dialog on reconstruction of social and economic ties between Kiev and Donbass. It also envisages carrying out constitutional reform in Ukraine providing for decentralization and adopting permanent legislation on a special status of certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
