Ukrainian combat losses in 2019 amounted to 290 troops killed and more than 600 injured.
Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass on April 13, 2014. Its status was changed to the joint forces operation in 2018, though the situation on the ground remained mostly unchanged as Kiev forces keep violating the ceasefire announced and reconfirmed by the sides multiple times.
