Kiev forces lay remotely delivered mines in Slavyanoserbsk and Nikolayevka areas
LUGANSK, April 7 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Ukrainian armed forces are installing remotely delivered mines in the Slavyanoserbsk and Nikolayevka areas, said LPR People's Militia press officer Yakov Osadchiy.
"We keep recording facts of 80th Ukrainian brigade delivering mines remotely to the Slavyanoserbsk and Nikolayevka areas."
On April 6, a 17-year-old was killed and a 16-year old injured as an unidentified explosive device went off on the outskirts of Slavyanoserbsk. Russian Investigative committee has launched a criminal investigation into the accident.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Conflict settlement relies on the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belarussian capital by the Contact Group members and coordinated by the Normandy Four heads of states (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine). The document provides for ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line.
