Kiev forces attack LPR with drone, two service members injured
LUGANSK, July 31 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Kiev forces dropped three grenades from an unmanned aerial vehicle targeting People's Militia position near the Pervomaisk-Popasnaya road, as a result of attack two defenders of the Republic were injured, said LPR representative at the Minsk talks, Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladislav Deinego.
“Today at about 4 p.m. Ukrainian side once again violated the ceasefire dropping three VOG-17 grenades at the positions of the People's Militia near the Pervomaisk-Popasnaya road from an UAV, As a result, two servicemen of the People's Militia were injured,” - he said.
He pointed out that the incident is a direct violation of the Additional Measures signed by the Contact Group to strengthen the ceasefire, which "is a blight on the conscience of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who undertake such provocations in order to destabilize the ceasefire."
"The information on the violation was immediately brought to the attention of the representative of the Ukrainian armed forces in the JCCC, appointed the contact person in accordance with the clause D of Additional Measures, by the representative of the LPR command in the JCCC.
"We hope that the coordination mechanism of direct interaction through the JCCC, initiated by the Contact Group and launched today, will further help stabilize the situation and ensure silence regime on the line of contact," he added.
