Kiev fails to pull-back in Zolotoye amid Ukrainian police and radicals face-off in Zolotoye
LUGANSK, October 9 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The Ukrainian side has not launched a white signal flare, meaning it has not embarked on the pull-back of forces to eliminate violations of the disengagement agreement in the Zolotoye demilitarized area, said LPR People’s Militia command acting chief of staff Colonel Mikhail Filiponenko.
As Lugansk Media Center correspondent reports, the SMM patrol went to the Ukrainian side to clarify the situation.
The SMM present in Zolotoye further confirmed that as of 1 p.m. Ukrainian armed forces have not fired white signal flare to signify the beginning of the disengagement, correspondent says.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian media reported that Ukrainian radicals of the National Corpus have broken through Ukrainian police checkpoint outside Zolotoye and entered the city claiming they want to stop the disengagement.
