Kiev-controlled enterprises emit 100 thousand tons of air pollutants in 2016
LUGANSK, June 16 (Lugansk Media Center) – Enterprises in Kiev-controlled territory of Lugansk region emitted 98 thousand tons of air pollutants in 2016, said LPR Emergencies Ministry head Sergey Ivanushkin.
"In 2016, according to Ukraine's statistics, 98 thousand tons of air pollutants were emitted by enterprises in Kiev-controlled territory; showing 37 percent growth compared to 2015."
The largest numbers of air pollution were registered in Lisichansk, Severodonetsk and Rubezhnoye.
He added that there are over 1,500 air pollution sources in Kiev-controlled territory.
