Kiev blocks solution to the issue of missing persons – Kobtseva
LUGANSK, April 18 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The Ukrainian side in the Contact Group's humanitarian working group has blocked the discussion of search for missing persons who disappeared during the Donbass conflict, said LPR representative in the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup Olga Kobtseva.
"Kiev still rejects any meaningful dialog. Today's meeting in Minsk was a bright example. Kiev's representative Irina Geraschenko was late for an hour, directed the dialog onto political track, but never presented her position on any of the key issues."
"Ukrainian side blocks the discussion over missing persons despite the fact that the ICRC proposed a road map back in 2016," Kobtseva said.
In mid-March, Morozova said that the humanitarian group's work was almost blocked due to the absence of authorized and competent experts on the Ukrainian side. In late March she said that the DPR had received no new proposition on the prisoner exchange from Kiev.
