Immortal Regiment march in Lugansk gathers dozens of thousand people (PHOTOS)
Dozens of thousand people marched through central Lugansk on Tuesday in the Immortal Regiment action commemorating the 72nd anniversary of the Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War.
It followed a peace march whose participants held posters with the calls for stopping the Donbass bloodshed.
The column of marchers stretched five kilometres in length from the Rus cinema house in Oboronnaya Street to Young Guards Square in Kotsyubinskogo Street.
LPR workers, schoolchildren, students, public organisation members, militiamen, veterans, doctors, teachers, miners and civil officers took part in the marches.
They carried photos of their relatives who defended the Motherland during World War II and Kiev’s offensive against Donbass.
