Humanitarian subgroup discusses legal aspects of missing persons search
LUGANSK, February 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The Contact Group's humanitarian subgroup has discussed legal aspects of the search for missing persons, said LPR representative in the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup Olga Kobtseva.
"DPR tabled some suggestions concerning the search for missing people, they produced a road map. Ukraine has also presented some kind of a road map. LPR orally presented its suggestions based on the available options."
"The exchange of opinions took place with the focus on the issues that require resolution within the legal framework so that the further search efforts remain within the legislative framework of Ukraine and the Republics."
The precautions is necessary so that family members of missing persons found dead are able to receive the appropriate documents.
"The sides took a time out to resume the discussion at the next meeting."
