First responders were alerted by a paramedic in the morning of February 3. The paramedic arrived at the scene after locals called for an ambulance.
“The victim has been hospitalized to the Lugansk Republican Clinic with a blast injury and traumatic amputation of both feet, shrapnel wound to his right-side forearm. According to medics’ reports the fisherman is a resident of Stepovoye, he was hunting fish in Seversky Donets,” the Ministry said.
