First responders pull 18 people out of vehicles stranded by heavy snow

LUGANSK, January 13 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR Emergencies Ministry teams have rescued 18 people from nine vehicles stalled by heavy snow in the past 24 hours.
"Icy and snowy road conditions led to nine disabled vehicles across LPR carrying 18 persons."
Weather conditions have recently deteriorated in the LPR bringing heavy snow, icy roads and strong winds.
The Emergencies Ministry is dealing with chaos "employing maximum of available equipment" to clean roads and help stranded motorists out.
