First LPR university granted accreditation with Russian educational authority
LUGANSK, December 2 (Lugansk Media Centre) – First LPR university has received a certificate of accreditation from the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science.
The decree No. 1622 dated November 29, 2019 published at the Service's website reads that "LPR state institution Lugansk State Medical University named after Archbishop Luka is recognized as passed state accreditation for educational activity in relation to the level of professional education … for the term of six years".
"The Lugansk Medical University has become the first among LPR (educational institutions) to obtain accreditation in Russia," LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said.
LPR Ministry of Education announced earlier that four LPR higher education institutions have plans for accreditation in Russia in 2020. Shevchenko Lugansk National University and Dahl Lugansk National University have already applied for accreditation.
