Donbass Railways disburses RUR 400 mln in 2020 - director

LUGANSK, January 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Donbass Railways cross-border concern which incorporates Lugansk Railways and Donetsk Railways disbursed 400 million rubles in 2020, company director general Vasily Nazaryan said.

“The company disbursed 400 million rubles worth of goal-oriented budget funds focusing on traction rolling stock upgrades in the first place,” Nazaryan said.

“The Lugansk Railways state unitary enterprise got nine VL 10 electric locomotives, the Donetsk Railways state-owned enterprise got two VL80T electric locomotives; five ChMEZ diesel locomotives were overhauled and 75 traction engines and auxiliary machines were repaired,” he said.

Earlier, Lugansk Railways said that it had disbursed 250 million rubles to modernise its rolling stock and infrastructure.
