Digital copy of Afghan anthology Torn Souls available for free download
LUGANSK, January 8 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The collection of stories Torn Souls: an Anthology of Prose About the Soviet War in Afghanistan is available for download from the Lugansk Media Center website.
The LPR Writers Union published the book with the assistance of LPR, DPR, Russian and Australian state agencies and individuals.
The head of the Writers Union Gleb Bobrov said that the book was a "historic event".
"English-speaking cultural space is seeing such an impressive collection of stories about the Afghan war for the first time. Nothing of the kind was published neither in the Soviet times, nor in the Post-Soviet era. The cultural value of the book is also about the fact that it was created in war-torn Donbass."
Copies of the book have been sent to libraries in the LPR, DPR, Russia, Great Britain, USA and Australia.
