Deinego dismisses Kiev's comment on checkpoints as lies and distortions
LUGANSK, November 18 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR Foreign Minister representing the Republic at Minsk talks Vladislav Deinego said that he was "habitually surprised" upon reading Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's statement on checkpoints in Donbass.
"Blatant lies and distortion of facts until unrecognizable," said Deinego referring to the statement.
"The statement is not worthy of comments or dismissal," he said in a statement made available to the Lugansk Media Center.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry issued a comment on November 17 saying that Kiev did take steps to improve the conditions at the crossing points in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions before winter would set, and to ease the hardships of civilians by opening the crossing points of Zolotoye and Schastye in the Lugansk region on 10 November 2020.
