Cereal and leguminous crops sowing paln fulfilled by 55 percent
LUGANSK, March 23 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR farmers have sowed 55 percent of summer cereal and leguminous crops, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food said.
"Thanks to the coherent work and high level of preparations to spring sowing, the plan for cereal and leguminous crops sowing has been fulfilled by 55 percent as of March 23. Farmers have planted 80 percent of pea, 70 percent of oats, plan for wheats has been surpassed," the report reads.
Several agricultural companies have begun sowing technical and feed crops.
Flax, mustard and coriander plan is fulfilled by 13 percent, annual herbs – 4 percent, under cover perennial grasses – 74 percent.
Mineral feed of winter grains has been 76 percent completed.
