More than 70 enterprises of the Lugansk People’s Republic have resumed operation since the beginning of this year, the Republic’s acting Minister of Industry and Trade Dmitry Bozhic told a news briefing at Lugansk Media Centre on Thursday.
“We had 229 companies in operation as of early 2016, and about 305 as of today, by yearend,” Bozhic said.
“Our next year objective is to relaunch all our enterprises,” Bozhic emphasized, adding that 486 companies had been inspected.
He noted however that relaunching companies would depend on market demand on their products.
