300 Lugansk infrastructure facilities have accessibilities for disabled people
LUGANSK, November 29 - DAN. Nearly 300 Lugansk infrastructure facilities have amenities for people with physical impairments, head of the City Hall labour and social protection department Galina Naumenko said at a press briefing at the Lugansk Media Centre.
“As of today, city authorities have provided access for disabled people to 184 infrastructure facilities, in accordance with regulations,” Naumenko said. “Wheelchair ramps were installed at 112 social infrastructure facilities.”
She noted that the city administration monitored education, culture and health care facilities for equal opportunities in meeting daily requirements of disabled people and low mobility groups and helping realise their creative potential.
