12,000 LPR residents take part in discussion of Program-2023
LUGANSK, April 6 (Lugansk Media Centre) - More than 12,000 residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic have taken part in the discussion of the LPR’s five-year socio-economic development program, head of the Mir Luganschine social movement’s Republican Executive Committee Denis Miroshnichenko said at a press briefing at the Lugansk Media Centre.
LPR residents have a chance to participate in the development of the program for the republics social and economic development till 2023, said LPR acting head Leonid Pasechnik earlier at a meeting of the Republican Council of the Mir Luganschine social movement.
“More than 12,000 people have taken part in the discussion during 140-plus meetings,” Miroshnichenko said.
"Community services, health care, transport are still prioritized. A lot of suggestions concern key enterprises, how to relaunch them in the situation we are in," he said.
LPR residents can phone Mir Luganschine hotlines or visit its website to bring forward their proposals concerning the program. They are also welcome to present them at all Mir Luganschine executive committees across the Republic.
Mir Luganschine is the largest social movement in the LPR numbering more than 101,000 members. It was established before the election to LPR People’s Council on November 2 2014. The Mir Luganschine candidates won 69.42 percent of votes finishing first in the election. Acting LPR head Leonid Pasechnik was unanimously elected chairman of the movement at its 3rd Republican Congress on February 17.
